1) Before the Vaccine

Decemeber 12th, 2020, a day before the vaccine was to begin being distributed, the United States witnessed a serge of cases across the country. The virus was nearing its peak and the country was in full lockdown.

2) Vaccine Distribution

From Decemeber 13th, 2020 onwards, vaccines were being distributed throughout the United States.

3) After the Vaccine

After vaccine distribution for nearly half a year, COVID-19 began to. However, states with lower vaccination rates witnessed increasing COVID-19 cases.

A) The Vaccine is Effective

Despite having only half the country fully vaccinated, COVID-19 cases have dropped to all time lows.

1. Seven day average cases have dropped 73% since Dec 12th.

2. Seven day average deaths have dropped 89% since Dec 12th.

3. Counties with lower vaccination rates are witnessing an increase in COVID cases (and vice versa).
